Experts of Transparency International – Bulgaria attended the opening of offers for construction of Lot 2 of “Struma” Motorway.

 

As an Independent Observer of the procedure for awarding public procurement contract with subject: Selection of a Contractor for Design and Construction of “Struma” Motorway section: LOT 2 “Dupnitza – Blagoevgrad” from km 322+000 to km 359+000”, Transparency International – Bulgaria conducted a of the work of commission for evaluation of the candidates’ offers for design and construction of the abovementioned infrastructure project.

 

The monitoring was carried out in accordance to the provisions of the Public Procurement Act and on the basis of a Cooperation Agreement, signed between Transparency International and the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, which is principal of the Contracting Authority in the procedure – Road Infrastructure Agency.

 

At present, the expert team of the organization is elaborating an analysis of the preparation and conduct of the tender procedure, which will be published on its website after concluding the analytical work.
