The Deputy Minister of Health Ms Desislava Dimitrova and representatives of Transparency International – Bulgaria held a work meeting today. In the focus of the meeting was presentation of the project “Integrity Initiative”.

 

Transparency International – Bulgaria presented the general conceptual framework of the Integrity Pact mechanism for independent civil monitoring as well as results of studies in the field of public procurement, conducted by the organization. In this context, it was stressed that TI-Bulgaria possesses expertise in the area and could provide both established and novel approaches for increasing transparency in public procurement.

 

The representatives of the Ministry and Transparency International – Bulgaria agreed on the need for common legal frame for cooperation between both parties.
